2018 sidewinder xtx 137 high Vis ordered 2012 Polaris rush pro r Le
Okay so I have always been a Polaris person but lately have been wanting to make the switch to 4-stroke. I am currently have a 2012 Polaris rush pro r 800. To be honest I love the sled. That being said I have never riden a newer Yamaha but I plan to order an xtx se 137. Looking for any insite from those here that have made a similar switch. Anyone think I'll regret the switch. Thanks for all opinions and help in advance

There are a number of threads on page 1 that have a ton of reviews on the sidewinder. happy ready.

ps, ditch the poo poo

how is that mountain seat for trail riding. I'd say about 75-80% of my riding is going to be trail. Then the rest off trail maybe 1 trip to Wyoming late march

Is the 137" XTX coupled and the 141" uncoupled? Just asking?

Yes the 137 is couples and a 1.75 track mountain seat. The 141 is uncoupled 1.6 track and trail seat

If you like sneaky smooth power and a nice ride, you won't be disappointed.

I have a 137 xtx Le which is pretty much the same as the 18 137xtx se model except mine has the trail seat. Sounds like you love your Polaris which has a good amount of weight transfer, the 137 xtx has pretty much no weight transfer. If you want some fun factor with weight transfer the 141 xtx models might better suit you, just my opinion,

Video is messing with my head. I need to ride......Please stop.

I am sorry but I have to comment on the fact you guys are way the hell on the wrong side of the trail in the corners...... !

Uooof, that's just gross. Must be a Yamaha thing.
It just gets my )%$!_)(*&ing blood pumping! cant believe what I am watching. Speechless!

Well bt04f250 I was strictly a blue man for 15 yrs and went through untold #'s of sx, srx, rx, Apex and Attacks. Then I rode a 2011 Polaris rush 800 and fell in love with a light flickable brute of a mogul smasher. I put 4000 problem free miles on it and kept it as a back up when I bought the 2012 Pro R 800 and that was even better. I loved the playful ride and ski lift at any time I wanted it. but then it blew up. I bought a 13 Pro R 800 and beat that one to death. I sold the 12 after they rebuilt it and the 11 went when I ordered the 15 Pro S 800 which I absolutely hated and sold after 1 weekend and 500 miles. I have been riding turbo'd Vipers since fall of 2013 and I will tell you it is a different ride but the feel of that 4 stroke with a little wind blown into the cylinders is intoxicating.

I have been constantly updating mine and now have a trail sled at 265 hp and still trying t get my drag viper back from Allen Ulmer after 2 seasons missed.

Here is what a turbo viper XTX does to a 2015 Pro S 800 and this was at only 225 hp and believe me it did not like running at 1/4 throttle!

wowzers!@!!! That's some shi*** driving and tearing the #*$&@ out of the trail for everyone else.

What you ride like a Sally. ? That flipper is made for smashing and if I am second in line and can see the guy in front of me it's time to have fun. Didn't buy a 200 hp sled to go 30 mph or k in your country.

keep it on topic guys.........

Lol bet I can out ride you! Look like a kid riding it. Honestly your reckless end of story. Ps sorry for being off topic on thread
