what is the easiest way to adjust the limiter strap? I just want to shorten by one hole, but I can't get the front of skid to move enough. Any tips or tricks on adjusting the limiter?

If you place a block of wood under the front of the track that should put upward pressure on strap and slacken it off for you to adjust. Moved mine down 1. Makes a noticeable difference. More weight on front skis. Less ski lift.

Can you keep us updated on how your sled acts with the limiters pulled up. I pulled my straps up one hole and rode the sled like a mile and couldn't stand it because all the sled did was spin and traction is a big concern of mine for my riding style. I never got the chance to trail ride it because it just made the sled spin and felt as tho there was no weight transfer so I put it back to all the way out. That is on an ltx se.

will do. Just got it pulled up one. Going out on a long trail ride today in just a few minutes. Will let you know my findings tonight. I hope I like it or it could be a long day.

so I pulled up my limiter strap one hole on saturday. Put on 100 miles all on groomed trails. The trails were very soft due to all the snow from Thursday, but really like the addition ski pressure. Definitely made my skis planted without any ski lift. I did get some track spin, but really think it was due to the loose snow on the trails since they were so soft. I did a 60 mile ride this morning and the trail conditions were 100% the opposite from the day before. Freshly groomed and very hard....felt like I was riding on a highway. Absolutely no track spin and felt like I was on rails. Really happy with the limiter strap pulled up 1 hole.
now just need to figure out rear suspension. My brother was on his 2014 Renegade and we were cruising along on the lake side-by-side around 65 mph and he couldn't't believe how the backend was behaving on the viper. I felt like I was getting bounced off over ever bump. I looked at him and his rear suspension looked so smooth taking every bump. Hopefully we can figure the backend out for next year.

Thanks for the info. I put softer torsion springs on mine and that helped. With stock springs I had almost zero sag with torsions on soft and front skid shock loosened all the way. With new springs I have about 2 inches of sag when I sit on the sled. Rear shocks are gonna be getting revalved at the end of the season and I'm gonna be going with a dual rate spring on the front skid shock, also the floats affect the sled a lot and I personally hate them so I'm getting a set of fox zero pros setup to my weight with dual rates springs. Hoping that this completely changes the sled because as you said, it is very stiff!
