Hey all,

Been a long time since I've been here. In the bast 2 years, I got married, bought a sled and two new sets of gear for my wife and step daughter. Hope you are all well.

I'm about to go through my Viper LTX and replace all skid bearings and have everything powder coated while taken apart. Have any of you used aftermarket bearings for the skid. I'm extremely dissapointed in the stock crap it comes with. They were already rough after the first 500 miles 4 years ago. I've greased them annually, missed last year, and now they have 5000 miles. I'd like NTN or FAG replacements if possible. Just looking for a list of bearing sizes or preferably part numbers if someone knows them.

Any good bearing will suffice as long as they are greased annually.
Over 20 years of riding and greasing all the bearings at the end of the season, the only bearings I have ever had to replace were those that you can not get to, to grease without total disassembly of an axle drive shaft or the like.
I use a grease needle to grease all the bearings on my sled.

You could say they come with aftermarket bearings from the factory.
