Anyone try any aftermarket belts ? Like an xs belt or anything ? Instead of the yamaha belt

i am running the Dayco XS805 Ultimax XS Drive Belt seems to hold up but i do get belt squeal at idal

Never had a problem with the stock belt.

Only brlts I have ever used is the Yamaha belts, no issues, or the Dayco Ultimax belt, No issues..

Have run the Ultimax on the wifes but after having reverse problems I put on a OEM and it cleared up the reverse problem. There was about 3500 km on the Max. Back to OEM for awhile.

Oem's are cheap if you can get one at the snow shows, $45 I think.. I get one every year, for the other sleds an every other year for the Phazer.. Different belts..

oem is way to go, fully vented and almost half the price of the aftermarkets.

When I bought my Phazer. I asked the service guy that was going over things with me about running an aftermarket belt. He told me to stay with the OEM. They hold up and at the time his reason was they couldn't handle the 4 stroke torque and would break. Made since to me and I have over 3800 miles on mine.
