Anybody with any real proof of making more hp with exhaust change.I do not want to go with the excel.I just dont like the looks of it.Im looking for more performance but not a lot louder.I talked to the guys last year that won the I-500 and they told what they were running but I forgot. Its been along summer.

Nothing out there that I know of actually has Dyno numbers like the Excell. Besides how can you not love the look of this...

I think he's like me and doesn't like the plastic side covers.........

In person they look like something out of the factory. Last season I had people always walking around it checking it out at rest stops. I've even heard "I thought yamahas had two exhaust pipes." Excell does an awesome job. But hey if ya don't like the single exhaust look, ya don't like it...

I agree that they do awesome job. As I said already, it's the plastic side covers that don't cut it for me. I myself would like to see some kind of fabricated assembly. A few years back a mountain guy posted a picture of a setup he did with a single exaust coming out the back with some sort of fabricated setup and it looked soooweet ;)!

I have Talked to Aaron Excell about this a number of times and it's simply a cost issue at this point.
