Aftermarket skis....why?

There are collars that go on each side when ordered. They are listed in the new '06 catalog what is needed with the skis. You need 2/ski. I just got the new book after the skiis were ordered. I beleive the Mt. guys may put 2 collars on one side to narrow the ski stance.
