Hello,
I was wondering what product should be used to seal the point in the air box where the plastic round tubes from the carb connect to the air box. I noticed that some of the connections have come lose. It apprears that some type of sealant was originally used and I was wondering what I should use for this repair?
Thank you very much for any help that you can give me.

if you pull one of the rubber boots out you will see it has a seal on both sides when installed into the airbox. the glue makes very little difference on the air seal, but you could use silicone there if you are concerned about it.

Yamaha uses their own adhesive called Yamabond. They have several types for different applications. Here is a link to their site.

Its not really their own adhesives. Its their brand stuck onto someone else's glues. Contact cement will be the right stuff for this application.
