Just talked to someone claiming 6 1 1/4 holes under hood on top of box 5 more hp. They are push in inserts with little filters. What do you guys think? Ido think getting the air from the top is better . Inserts go 3 on each side can't be seen. The price is right and when they where put in a 2stroke it worked . In a 2011 apex 6 plus hp 09 seeing 5hp .Coming from reliable dealer thanks in advance

5 and 6 hp seems a little high..imo

I heard the same thing from them. D&D. I have the Ulmer setup and I definately gained some RPM when I installed it.

They also report big gains with a fuel controller their clutch kit and their exhaust. Over 172hp and 1/2 sec and a few mph in the quarter mile!!!

On a stock brand new 2011 Apex, D&D reported 151hp on there dyno. Adding 6 bullseye and a PCV, dynoed in at 162. As already noted above, D&D was very impressed of how fast this sled really was, once it was tuned....

This was Dale's post on HCS "The oldforge shootout sled was 151 hp at dynotech,we have also seen about the same results on the D&D dyno..Just a simple air box mod with D&D BullsEyes ($42.99) and adding a PC V it was then 162hp @10500 . We are really impressed the way this new 2011 Apex runs ..Tested all last week for the shootout and seen vary good numbers in our test field with best runs of 11.75 et @ 106 mph in 1320.. We also tested another 2011 with D&D silent choice slencer and air box mods along with D&D Magnaforce clutch kit and ran 11.45 et @ 109 mph."
