What's the easiest way to remove the airbox on an Apex. Do I have to remove the front headlight and windshield or can I get at it without doing that. I want to mod it.

I agree. Ulmer's write up made changing the oil on my Apex a breeze. It was still time consuming, but at least I knew all the steps I had to take to do it right.

So, I guess I have to disassemble the sled. Wonder how many parts I will at the end of this job.

Look at it this way, once you've tackled the airbox job, changing the oil filter will be a piece of cake!

while you got it torn done, change the plugs to the cr10ek's, oil filter and whatever else you got to do

Oil and plugs have already been done, but I learn for next year I guess.

I read on here how some guys have cut the taps on the airbox at the back so it could slip on under the headlight. Won't help you this time but would help the next.
