Well.... something has to give. Lol.
192 studs 144 w/angled backers up the middle 48 on the edge.
4 Dalton helixes
3 primary springs
2 sets of primary rollers
I figure I can tune the power up and down to match one of those helixes, in a sense?!?!

Is it winter yet???

Question....when increasing the helix angle is it true that you loosen the spring wrap?
My first helix is a 39/35 & Dalton B/O wrapped at 6/2.

Suggestions?

Bigger helix angle will increase shift, looser spring will increase shift also. Bigger helix, looser spring will pull rpm lower and with all those studs, may lead to belt slip.

Opinions vary, but usually when going to bigger helix I run same or more tension.
