Alternate seat mod to apex

easiest for you would be putting the 06-10 apex/06-07 rs nitro seat on your rx1. usually need a +2" riser when doing this mod on an rx/rs sled.

Appreciate that.
Does it require trimming tank cover?
Or is it a direct replacement including wiring?
How many inches does it raise seat?

you will have to trim the tank cover and need to swap out the plugs on the wiring harness. on a 03 rx you gain 3-4" more in height at least and usually have to add a +2" riser to the bars at least.

Adds 2-3 inches of height ?
And with 2" riser the bars are still near my knees so I'd need to go 4-6 of riser....

i already had the 4" riser on my rx warrior when my brother added the mountain mod apex seat to it. wiring was long enough but i did use rx1 mountain cables/brake line from an 05 sled witch are obselete now. power madd does make extension cables for throttle and brake line. idk what you would use for the choke and park brake cables though.
