I work in the insurance business..........."smoke & mirrors" regarding this topic.
The owners need only to do like Michcon, Consumers Energy & the rest do when a trail crosses their land............be added as an "additional insured" to the snowmobile club's (or whom ever) liability policy.
Not to mention waivers.......hold harmless agreements, etc....etc....etc...
The hard part is dealing with the fence! That would suck to have to tear down fencing...or just a portion of fencing....and I can understand why this would pose a problem.

These jokers didn't have to speak up. they could have turned a blind eye. but no, they raised a stink and then trough a fit when its pointed out that they are hippocrits and profiting from snowmobiles. I'd say if 2 buisnesses have the same owner, they are related, so screw 'em.
