It's my first roller secondary. Is there supposed to be side to side play on the shaft? I put it back on today and noticed there wasn't any play.

Thank you. I was hoping for more replies not that I doubt you.
I doubt myself. Don't blame you. I'm not one of the pros here. But mine was shifting back & forth.
Maybe as it climbs the helix some of the float gets taken away. I'm positive it's something like that.

With the belt on it loads pressure on the helix and then your clutch will float. Providing you do not have an after market belt adjuster.
