I had 144 studs in my 03 RX-1. I'm curious to see how many studs you guys have been putting in the 1 1/4 ripsaws. I liked the 144 down the middle, but I'm wondering if I'm going to get too much grab with the ripsaw. I bought 144 SS.

144 down the middle shouln't be too much grab. If you went closer to the rails, it would grab more. I wouldn't go with any less.

Apex what length stud? I would never run stainless again!!But I am pretty fussy when it comes to hookin up!!ss are softer and round off faster than you can imagine -

There 1.40 nominal length & 1.720 overall length, but come out to the same size(ballpark) as a woodys 1.325. I had 144 SS on my 03 7,500 miles. Yes they do round off a little faster but they made it. I hate looking at rust during storage, plus I think steel has the tendency to pull out easier and wont give or break when SS may.
