When I started my 09 phazer RTX today I noticed that the antifreeze was low, so I went to the local Yamaha dealer and asked them if they had any and they said they didn't carry Yama-cool. Any advice on what brand, mix ratio, or type to bye? The guy said any 50-50 ratio will do. But the Yama cool is a 60 - 40 ratio, I wanted to now what you guys would suggest. Or if any other stores would carry yama-cool?

I had this discusion with my dealer this summer , the dealer says anti freeze from yamaha is the say same as any other (ethyglycal) I do believe . I flushed mine and put Engine ice in it runs at around 185 - 195 . That brings up another question anybody have any clue what temp is normal rideing temp ? I also instaled Ulmers daytona digital temp gauge .
