Any good headlight options?

I did the HID kit on my Nytro and the Phazer. Tha Nytro was a breeze. The Phazer not so much....

There is no room to stuff the ballasts etc. You have to take your time and be creative. It is worth the effort though.

Maybe switch to a higher wattage "offroad" type bulb but be carefull it doesn't get to hot and melt the plastic lense.
I did that with my street bike and it's much brighter but that also has a glass lense too....

i got a pack of silverstars that are brighter than the stock bulbs. i paid 23 bucks but i know that they are usualy much more expensive.

Hey guys.

I just don't think my standard headlight light is adequate? HAs anyone tried anything different? Anyone tried LED or HID headlights for the phazer? Clay

Take a ride on a 1970's or even 80's sled and you will like your stock Phazer's head light much more..... :)

Check the Electrical forum below for HID options. I installed the DDM Tuning HID kit, but haven't had my Phazer out to see how well they work.

I just installed an el-cheapo fleabay 4300k HID slim ballast kit. Looks awesome but lack of snow has prevented me from trying them out on trail. Had lots of room for the ballasts and wiring but I think the way the VLs/MPs have their headlights in the hood is different than the Phazers.

try adjusting it?
maybe the angle is too low/high.

good call, I added washers to the top screw on the headlight mounts to help aim them down more. And adjust them with someone sitting on the sled.

It's been a while, but i remember mine being pretty dang bright, but, the weight transfer made it aim from the ground to the trees.

I'm working on some LED lights that will mount on my helmet. 800+ lumen with only a 10 watt draw. Then I'll have light where ever I look.

i went for a 4 am ride this morning and at 75 i came across a deer herd crossing the road, holy needle threading hahha i have to reaim my headlights lol
