Irv said:Thanks guy's, bumpers are almost $200 up here in Canada ($180.97) so I am going to try the repair option first.
The U.S. prices are by far a lot better but with shipping, duty etc, I am sure it will be pretty close to the CDN price anyways?
I've always been able to cheaply ship to ontario using usps. Call the dealer first.

If you go the epoxy route, put some epoxy on a piece of wood and push it into the texture in a flat area of the bumper (wipe some wax on it first so it won't stick). After it dries, pull it off then fill in your divot and just before it hardens use the texture tool to shape the surface.

I tried the Permatex right stuff the other day but it didn't take, maybe the gouge isn't deep enough or the surface was cleaned properly because it came right off with little effort.
May try the U.S. one depending on price to my door or forget about until I find a used one?
Thanks for all your tips, well most of them anyways. LOL

Thanks to Maxout01, I now have a new bumper coming from Quebec
My folks were in Pontiac Michigan last week-end and my Father had a chance to check out one of the local Yamaha dealers about a new bumper.
(forget which one?)
To his and my surprise, he was told it was $149.99 U.S.??
Ever link etc that I have checked out, it listed at $124.99. U.S.
Some were posted cheaper at other dealers throughout the States, mainly $83 to low $90's but I was totally surprised when he told me this as I could have purchased one here in Ontario for only $10.00 dollars more at $159.99!
Anyways, it doesn't matter now as I got my confirmation e-mail that this one is being shipped out this A.M.
Thanks for all your help everyone, especially Maxout01, I would have never seen it if you didn't PM me with the details, I appreciate that
