I run quads, and anyone running them can tell you that plastic looks like....well, bad after a while. What I've learned to do takes ten seconds or less. What you're looking at there could be minimized by about half if you could get rid of the part of the bruise that's sticking up beyond where it's supposed to? If you have a propane torch handy, turn the flame up on high and hit that spot full on with the flame for maybe a second (no longer, that a ONE count, OK?) and check it out. If you'd like to try it again, wait until you're SURE it's cooled down from the first attempt. Obviously, you can burn your sled down pretty easily doing stuff like this, so for God's sake be carefull. Done right, the plastic becomes hot enough to flow on the surface, without burning, and will flow out. It'll never look like new, but you may find your eyes aren't as drawn to that pimple after popping it?
I would usually recommend trying this somewhere not so obvious, but this part was ready to be scrapped anyway, so it's a good place to try a last ditch effort. Just use appropriate caution. FWIW

There are 3 bumpers on ebay right now. Not sure how much shipping would be to canada. Might be almost as cheap to buy new.
I would just use a grinder and smooth it out a little. I'm sure you could use something to get the texture close; steal wool, sand paper, wire wheel, etc.
But I'm not a perfectionist either.

Link or info where?
Just checked under apex and vector bumper and all I seen were rear bumpers and bumper hardware/backing?

oh my bad, I thought that was a rear bumper, I guess I should have read the title better.
What sled and front bumper is that? isn't the apex front bumper plastic?
I'm good at finding stuff.

Front bumper for an 08 Vector, I believe the 06 to 10 fit as well including the Apex.
Good luck with your search, looking forward to hearing from you soon!

I didn't want to be the first to say it, but I would run it through some thick brush, would hardly be noticable. they are new for 10 minutes, tops09phazermichagan said:chicks like scars dude leave it its a sing of wisdom or make three in a row on both sides like wiskers lol

Hey look, found another guy looking for the same thing!
I don't know why I'm such a moron today, but I finally realized what you are looking for. The plastic front bumper! I just couldn't figure out what that picture was.
Ok, I'll dedicate the next ten minutes to searching...ready...go.

Thanks guy's, bumpers are almost $200 up here in Canada ($180.97) so I am going to try the repair option first.
The U.S. prices are by far a lot better but with shipping, duty etc, I am sure it will be pretty close to the CDN price anyways?
