Just checking to see if any body has the 200-300 mile range in a day how comforable the sled is for this type of riding.

Our group rides some pretty heavy miles each day. Last year there was quite a few times that we did 225+ per day. I haven't gotten sore or tired. With this sled, the faster you go, the smoother the bumps get!

I usually do a long ride once a week consisting of 250-300 mile range. I do get a little sore in my right leg but its been operated on a few time thanks to MX. My only suggestion would be a good set of gloves and a high windshield. The stock windshild is the most pointless thing ever on the Nytro

I agree! I never got sore, but my hands would be so damn cold. I actually melted my gloves on the exhaust last year trying to warm them up while riding. Not smart, I know, but I was desperate! I got some new gloves this year and added the larger handguards. So we will see.

Once a week at least we ride 200+ miles per day, lot of back country rides, not just groomed trials. Never been sore, best sled I have ever had for comfort. I always wear good gear, can't be cold on those long days.

Cannondale47, Berge75, and a couple guys from T&A Motorsports put a full day with us on our Nytro's with no problems.....well Berge75 hit a deer with his Apex. That had to be hi 200 to low 300 miles that day I believe. Can't tell for sure.

Same thing happened to my glove last year on a 275 mile day by myself. Melted 3 fingers right through and couldnt of been farther from the truck. Thats to funny!lucky_7 said:unpride said:I usually do a long ride once a week consisting of 250-300 mile range. I average 175 miles everytime out. Had some 200 plus days of riding. Most of my riding is on Tug Hill in New York state. If any of you ever rode there on a saturday you'll know what kind of conditions they have......NOT PRETTY. But the Nytro holds up fine and keeps me smiling from ear to ear. The height of the bars make it perfect for standing, which in return helps on the back. I have noticed my shoulders getting fatigued, but the way the Nytro pulls, it's no wonder.
couple of 300 mile days on our fx nytro mtx (long trail days). no problems, got up the next day rode 190-200 no problem. but you got to be in shape to ride. if your a potato, you are gonna be sore i dont care what or how you ride. ski

I never been so little fatigued after a 300mile day in my life. You could easily drive 500miles day if you wanted to and do it all over again the next day.

Re: long ride
How does the ride compare to the 08 RTX?

It's a very comfortable sled to ride long distance on. Definitely the best ergos of any sled I've ridden. As it was stated, it is a cold sled, but other than that it's great for long runs!!
