Just wondering if any of you new owners that obviously have taken delivery of your new Apex have tried the Sportech handguards. Wondering if they are going to clear the taller windshield.

I have a set of Carbon Fiber Sportech handguards that should look really good on my GT. I really hope they fit. From what I saw at the show I think they should be fine.

I beleive yamaha has a set just for the apex models in the catalog. No picture yet, but they do have them. I think for about 30 bucks is all. We'll have to wait for pictures.

This past weekend I was at the dealers and a sled in the back had a set of Sportech guards. Well we did an experiment. They will clear the low windshields of the GT's & RTX. Here is the problem. If you opt for the taller Attack windshield there is interference just before you reach full turn of the bars. I guess we'll have to see what Yamaha has to offer. I just liked the oversize style of the Sportechs.
