Any new photos or info?

I was questioning the cooling system when I was down at F&S this weekend. That rear tunnel cooler is quite large, but I have my doubts it will be enough when in hardpack conditions with no dust. All the other Japan sleds in their evolution eventually ended up with some sort of radiator and fan for marginal conditions. Time will tell I guess. I will be exploring some potential ideas for a small rad and fan in case there would be a need for it.
When I looked the sleds over at Blackman's, I noticed some room in front of the motor down by the belly pan behind the front bulkhead. Just a thought Travis. ;)!

I would be worried that tapping into and rerouting the cooling system would screw up the convection effect that they designed in to cool the turbo after the engine shuts down.

If you keep the flow going in the same direction I wouldn't see an issue. 1st thing everyone should do when getting there new SW is check the anti freeze mix. Yamaha likes to go heavy on the glycol. My Attak was good down to -70' from the factory. When I put on the rear xchanger I set the mix at 60/40% -40' now. I have not seen my temp light since! ;)!

I was gonna ask if this is still a thing with Yamaha. I changed the coolant in my attack and haven't seen the light since in 3 or 4 years and I don't have a rear heat exchanger.
