I am not new to Yammys but am new to 4 stroke. After spending the last few years riding doo's (and still do) is there any special relays I need to keep as "spares" on my Yammy. In case it matters it is an 06 Attak. No engine mods and only mildly clutched. Just wondering if I need to run to the parts store to get stuff before snow flys. Also on a second note to do with oil. After reading a lot of post on here I think I am going to run mobil 0w-30 synthetic in the machine. It has 4500 miles on it and has only had yammy lube in it till I do my first oil change. But my question is, is there a specially formulated mobile 0w-30 synthetic for sleds or will the standard 0w-30 from the parts store work?? Thanks alot.

There are some relays that are know to sometimes freeze up and prevent you from being able to start your sled. When this occurs, which has happened once to me, I took the fuse out and put it in my pocket for 2 minutes then replaced it and my sled fired right up. As for the oil, I have heard as long as you run 0w-30 synthetic you will be fine. Obviously yamaha suggests using their oil but two of my buddies use Mobil 1 full synthetic and have had no problems. I personally use Yamalube so I havne't had any problems with that either.
