Hi Everyone, I'm one of many who have had issues with frozen relays. One time it happened as I started it, drove up to gas pump, went to start after fueling and wouldn't start.( Fuel Pump relay froze). Had to take out and hold in hand. PITA. Are there any after market relays or are the 2019 relays updated? Thanks

Snoseeker told me this week that the Genuine OEM Polaris part #4016819 relay is solid-state and will not freeze up. I just ordered one up this week.

Perhaps Snoseeker or journeyman can chime in about it.

I'll try the polaris relays, cheap experiment, which one(s) to replace? anyone know? I know where they are, from what I recall i pulled a few warmed them up, put them back and off I went. I'll also try sealing the originals better, clear nail polish or the like.

familiar with relays on apex as it happened to me. Where abouts is the relay located on sidewinder? Placement?
Relay box on Sidewinder are under hood just behind bumper. The one that's gives me trouble is the one on the left. (Fuel Pump) The dash will not light up, but starter turns over and will not start.

Snoseeker told me the Polaris one is solid state and for the fuel pump.

Same for me. When it’s cold and start your engine let it warm up before shutting off this was helpful for me

When I type on part number KNAPP posted, it seems to get superseded to another number.

Is that also a good part number or do we need that number Mike posted.

I wouldn't be buying generic relays from Amazon or anyplace else. I would buy OEM relays with that Polaris part number. That means the Polaris dealer as far as I'm concerned. After all, thats the only place to get the OEM number. They have to be a Polaris dealer with that PN.
