I weighed just the frame and it's about 4 1/2 pounds. The fabric and edge moulding weigh about 2 1/2 so it should be right at 7 pounds, Ken.
 

heres my dimond s hood. fits great and helps with intercooler and other underhood heat.

Here's one of the ones I built. It's built about 1.5" taller than normal to leave clearance for my intercooler and air cleaner.

Here's mine - I spent $50 on flat bar aluminum, rivets, duct tape and pet-proof window screen.
