I noticed yesterday that front right a arm is not attached at frame. I could see the bolt head on right side and left side was where it is supposed to be, as looking at it from the front of sled. The rear of the lower a arm is still on. I can't believe that it still drives ok. I have no idea how long I was riding like that. How bad of a fix is that? Is it entire front bulk head or is front a seperate piece?

Someone here had this happen on a first gen RS Nytro(Deltabox chassis) and posted pics.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but yea the whole bulkhead has to be replaced.
I suppose a really good aluminum fabricator could fix it, but keep in mind that bushings need to go there too, so alot of precise machine work would be needed. By the time you'd pay for hours of special fabrication & machine work, you might as well by a new one. I think they are around $350
EDIT.... click here & look at part #5

A friend of mine just had that happen about three weeks ago.The "dog ear" of the casting around the bolt broke off. He stripped the front end down and had it welded up by a shop that works with aluminum.

I think you can replace just half of the bulkhead if its just one side.
About 350 for one side
I know the left side took 4 to 5 hrs on mine. Just had it fixed last week.
Mine was broken on the left side lower dog ear front..
Hit a hole with the left ski right on trail. Tried welding it, don't bother it won't last at all.
Its your life change it.

listen to trailhead 1 and replace it.The amount of abuse that those parts see is huge. You don't need to do a nose dive at 80mph just to save a few bucks and time. It would probably take less time to fix it properly that to have it welded any ways.

Yup, replace half of bulk head. About $350 for the part. I paid dealer the first time I did this. The second time I replaced it myself as I had a scharge installed and the cost to re-re would have been large.
