i want to run the gyt shocks and would have to convert to the complete vector front end,i know have all thge parts to do it, was wondering if anyone else did this yet, they say the vector front handles way better thank the old rx1

someone on here did it...handles better as it lowers the front end with the shorter spindles.
I am about to do that to my 05 RX-1 that I wrecked.
I just bought an Attak and one thing that was instantly clear was it's ALOT better than the RX-1 was as far as the front end goes when I rode it.
Be interesting to see how the new style front suspension works on the old skewl RX-1.

I have a Apex front end and fox floats on my 05 RX-1, but haven't had a chance to ride it yet because I'm still missing some parts (like a motor) to get my sled running. LOL! I'll try to post some pics this weekend.

i got a apex front but gyt for my rx, how did the insataltion go allen? was there anything not the same or straight forward, would it be possible to use the stock steer rods?thats the only thing im missing

Everything was a simple bolt on and go. I swapped the upper and lower a-arms and then the spindles and spindle housings. Otherwise all the RX-1 components are the same (steering rods, etc).
