Add another one to the list, mine came off Sunday. Luckily the bolt came out and didn't damage the spindle.
Talke to my dealer and he reported it to Yamaha.
Check your bolts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got 2900 miles on my 2010 XTX and have never had any issues.

Not sure on aftermarket - will take a look. BTW - dealer said parts on back order, so my season may be over.

i have over 5000km on my 08. Nothing broke for tie rods or upper/lower ball joints. BUT they are completely slopped out. I am changing them all in the spring but hopefully not with OEM

Well, I was pretty pissed about the whole thing myself but I never missed a day of riding because of it and it was quickly repaired under warrenty. I guess it just taught me to check these things as the season goes on to make sure they stay tight. Now as far as going to a Polaris Rush for 2012. I made the mistake of going to a 09 Polaris Dragon 800 after 3 seasons on my 06 Apex and having to deal with the whole exhaust donut/cracked pipe situation. I was very frustrated and went back to my old standby Polaris. BAD MOVE!!!! I'm not even going to get into how bad of a sled that was but rust me big time POS! Yammis do occasionally have some issues as we have found out, but I still think that they are the best built and most reliable sleds out there and would'nt hesitate to buy another one. I now have almost 3000 mi on my 2011 Nytro and the ball joint bolt is the only issue so overall I'm still happy.ultimatewarrior said:Mine was the right side.
