Use a hard rubber or plastic mallet. Start pounding away lightlly and fit as you go. It will take some time but it will work. I have seen it done on a original MCX front mount unit. It is a slow process but you can eventually get it down to fit properly.

fUEL TANK PROBLEM???
I DID NOT WORK ON A TANK WITH Tison I built my own when I started building my kits, that was a tyson kit, that I did not sell, all my customers that got earley tyson kits, that I sold, were giving new tanks, from Northeast Turbos, at no charge, so it was not one that I sold sorry for your problem call Tison they may help you. I stand corrected! LOL not rying to bad mouth anyones stuff. i just thought you were involved with the kit as the intercooler is a exact replica of yours.
i just wish that the tank fit properly. the only way i would be able to make it fit properly is to cut and weld it.

the only thing that i am unhappy with so far is the tank and i think i will end up cutting it apart and rewelding it to the proper dimentions!
