I need ideas on how to eliminate the tendency for the front end to dive on my 03 RX1 mountain. I have already installed the longer sway bar links which did help. I have been looking for the Final Solution to this problem. I have been looking for a stiffer sway bar but have no definitive answers from various suppliers or local dealer. Is there any difference in length of the sway bar between the various RX1 models or years. What will work for my sled?

Do you still have the stock skis? If so, a better flotation ski would help. Either the new Yamaha skis or PowerPros, for example.

You can get a bigger sway bar. 10MM stock on RS and RX1 Mountain. An 11MM sway bar was used on RS and RX 121" and 136" for '05. Part # 8FG-2386E-00-00. All RS and RX sway bars are 75MM long. Going to a bigger sway bar will only help keep the front of the sled flatter in the corners. If you want to keep it from diving in the powder, you need to (1) use wider skies for more floatation and (2) take weight off of the front end. The'05 Yami skies work AWSOME and are also the least expensive to go with.if you still have the stockers. There are tons of things to do to take weight off of the front ( battery, a-arms, hood, etc.).

Yep got 05 skis last season, they worked well, got a light weight hood and battery ready to install.PwdrNut said:Do you still have the stock skis? If so, a better flotation ski would help. Either the new Yamaha skis or PowerPros, for example.

I'm confused are you talking about ski lift going around corners or the nose diving going down hill in powder?

change your skid and tunnel to Ekholm and all your problems are solved, drop and roll is included in the kit.

you might want to have your shocks recharged-change oil, fresh nitrogen, and take up some of spring compression. I had some similar characteristics and after I had that done the ride was better.also if you tighten up the front arm limiter strap you will have more steering pressure- loosen the limiter strap and you will have less ski pressure.these are the cheap fixes if you don't have $$$ to throw around.
