Anyone know a way to make the excell exhaust a bit quieter?

I love my excell but on a long trip i found that the drone got to me. They used to make an insert kit but don't seem to have it any more. It didn't seem all that complicated.
Any one just made thier own?
I actually love the sound of the pipe but after 900 miles, in four days last year it was annoying.

I think the problem with it was for it to make any significant sound reduction it built too much heat into the motor and Aaron was concerned of complications and liability..

I kinda thought it might be something along those lines. I guess i will have to live with it.

my advise...get a set of silicone ear protection buds...or the foam ones and I wear a balaclava the has turtle fur around the neck and a bv2s helmet that helps muffle the sound

On long rides I wear ear plugs.
