Took apart my chaincaase today to install new track. Took special care to keep all washers, spacers etc in order. But when I was looking over the chaincase bearings, I noticed this little O ring sitting on top of my outer case...have spent an hour trying to find its home with no luck. Anyone know where it's aupposed to go??

Got it all back together, and yeah that little O ring plopped out when I took off the chain case and was sitting on top of the outer case. Easy to miss if you've forgotten where it sits.
New track on..new driveshaft bearings and greased jackshaft bearings. Ready to regrease skid and shim skis, then install new spindle bushings...
