That is the 2nd storm track I've seen pics of that was basically falling apart after less than 500 miles. The other one I had seen the guy got it covered under warranty but his confidence went down the crapper on that particular track. I need a new 128 for my Apex and was debating going with this track if it's available for my sled but I've gotten close to 8k miles out of the original ripsaw and it's really only got one bad spot. Been trying to ease it thru the rest of this season but it's ridden by my 17 year old son who loves to rip but so far so good.

Was interested in swapping out my studded track for this but now that idea may be on hold.

Personally if I was considering this track those photos wouldn't sway me from putting this track on. Those look like anomalies where the rubber didn't bond fully. i would sure keep an eye on it and submit a claim if it did happen.

I have been running the 1.6" ice cobra track on my sidewinder since new. Have a total of 8300km on my sled, and 6000 of those km have been running the hurricane 240R and 270R tunes. Track has held up awesome and looks new still, have no tears or ripped lugs. Its definitely not like a studded track but provides decent hook up on icy trails and is awesome on hard packed, loose and off trail. Would definitely consider putting another one on when the time comes. You will definitely loose top end, when running the 240R tune I'm only seeing top speeds of 117mph.

My buddy and I were also running Storm 150 with iGrips since last year. He lost all his center lugs last spring, it was blamed on ice chunk and also having iGrips installed.
This year mine is also starting to have random lugs ripped off. they look very similar to mydogisanewf pictures, rubber is not bonded to fabric.

That's not good to hear about lugs ripping off.
I wonder if they would make the Ice Ripper XT 1.5" that you can get on a DOO available for other brands that might be a good track option.

Yeah sounds like these storm lugs are too soft like an cobra track lugs.
