I have the snostuff which is similar. It cost me $230 ib ebay. I love it and would buy again in a heartbeat. Lighter than stock and great sound that's not too loud. I've ridden by many DNR Officers with not even a third look ( second looks are normal on an Apex!!)

" Everything is great. I was worried about the install with reading how some of the other guys had trouble with pipes not being the right angle but she went on fine. The gaskets were the worst part as I had to pull them apart and try again. Went on the second time and everything bolted back up very good. The end caps were just a little off but just pushing them over with one hand and putting the bolt in was enough. Looks very stock, sound on the other hand is not. If you keep it down say 4000 rpm or less , she really isn't that loud. I have had no complaints over the louder pipes. I've had two ski-doo guys ask me if it was a turbo. Some pipes I've heard sound tinny but the one sound clip of the super Q I found sounded good and mine sounds just the same. I keep good records for MPG and I can't tell a difference. I've I had to guess in fact, I would say my MPG improved so that made me happy as well. I was a little disappointed when they showed up as they DO NOT come chromed. I ordered ceramic coated and that is just how they came. I bought it from sled solutions and after posting how I was unhappy with the unchromed finish Paul from sled solutions told me to email skinzs. He didn't even know that I had bought it from him as my user name is different then my real name. So I email jeff at skinz and he told me that it was a mix up with the picture and to keep the cost down they do not chrome the apex pipes. He offered to make me happy and sent me the skinz knee pads for free. Really did not have to but wanted me happy. I would buy from them again if I did it all over again. "

Very happy with Paul from sled solutions and Jeff from skinzs. They went above the call of duty I feel, I was disappointed but with Paul offering to help and not even knowing I had bought the exhaust from him and Jeff sending my the knee pads to make up for it I feel lucky to have bought the brand of exhaust I did and from a dealer who truly cares about their customers. I didn't know Paul or Jeff before hand and have to say I really didn't expect to have the help I did after the purchase, but I did and for me that speaks volumes about them. Thanks again Paul and Jeff.

With this exhaust it should elim. the y pipe issue or am I looking at it wrong?

Most of the exhaust donut problems have been up by the motor. Where it goes from 4 into 2. There has been some Y pipe issues just before the exhaust and I was happy to see mine were still good but for the most part it is up at the headers off the motor. Changing the exhaust will let you put 2 new donuts in but won't solve the problem with the 4 donuts by the motor.

Hey Guys,

Sounds like something that I would be interested in. I want my '07 Apex louder but not obnoxious.

For those of you that have this exhaust installed, I am curious if this exhaust improves the "droning" that the stock exhaust causes at slow trail speed.

If it fixes the "drone" I would buy it just for that reason alone!

I have the ultra q (quieter version of the two) sounds deep and throaty...love it..
might be selling the machine if I do I will sell it..
