You may not get a hose down the oil tank of a sidewinder, its full of baffles.
Nice thing is the oil tank has a drain plug on it so you can still drain the oil out of it and get all the sediment and shavings out of there at the same time too.
Do it the right way and use the drain plug.

If I overfilled it I wants to pump some out and when oil change comes I wanted to pump out everything I could then pull the plug so it's not as much of mess on the shop floor like last time lol

anybody know if the cut oil bottle trick work on the Winder like the Viper for no mess. Haven't looked at it to see if it's the same or not

I wasn't able to get it to work unless my bottle wasn't cut right I had basically all the oil on the floor

Could be laid out differently then. That's too bad, that worked slick on the VipersI wasn't able to get it to work unless my bottle wasn't cut right I had basically all the oil on the floor

It works but needs a little trimming, trim a little at a time until it fits. The oil line elbow at the bottom of the tank is what gets in the way. Also a trick I do is raise the front of the sled slightly so that the oil draining doesn't collect and overflow out the cut bottle. Also try using a windshield washer fluid bottle instead, has way more volume than an oil bottle, difference is it needs to lay flat, so aim the spout to an opening in the running board.anybody know if the cut oil bottle trick work on the Winder like the Viper for no mess.
