BIKEMASTER® PLATINUM HIGH PERFORMANCE SEALED GEL BATTERIES
Completely sealed and maintenance free. This design eliminates the need to add water and prevents corrosion and acid spills on expensive paint and chrome
Ready to go out of the box. Valve regulated design allows you to sell a battery without filling and charging it. This is huge because it saves the labor of prepping a battery and ensures that you never lose a sale because you don’t have one ready
UPS shippable, non-hazardous rated by the D.O.T. and I.A.T.A for all methods of shipping including air. No hazardous materials fees.
More cranking amperage than the competition. The lack of free electrolyte reduces resistance and produces 25% more cranking amperage
BikeMaster® Platinum batteries were made to hold up to extreme amounts of heat and vibration
The liquid-free, flexible design allows you to mount the battery in almost any position (inverted is not recommended)
Increased shelf life. 2% monthly self discharge rate means a bike can sit for an extended period of time without constantly monitoring it with a battery charger
Wonder if these type of batteries hold up minus cold temp weather?
past summer got one for my atv, cranks engine faster, atv starts up easily. anyone using one on a snowmobile? if so what brand?

We use gel batteries in the cleaning equipment we sell as an option. They are 2-3 times the price of lead acid batteries & they don,t perform well in the cold. they are zero maintenance tho.

Your better off going with a AGM battery which stands for Absorbed Glass Mat. They will out perform a lead acid battery in the cold and the heat. You can buy them almost anywhere now even Wally Mart.

Ditto what Sled Dog said. I have used a oddessey pwc 625 for 2 years now. Never had it on my optimate ever, and it always starts th sled. It is a agm or glass mat battery. You can get them on ebay fo a good price. I had one in my Viper a 535 and it started it in -30 degree weather just like it did in 50 degree weather. Maxdlx
