Ok here is my question, when you open the air box on the Apex, there is a rubber hose comming from the the back right running down the right side of the box venting into the center front of the box, maybe oil crank vent, I am asking anyone here to look at your hose and see if you have a 3/4" slice on the top of it just before the bend, if so can you tell me why they would do this to the hose

This crank case hose is for venting and by doing so the air venting from the motor crankcase is warm and humide, your air box is drawing COLD air and you know what happens when you mix cold & warm air together they condensate and freeze and the end part of the rubber hose will or can plug up with ICE and thats why you have that slit to releave any back pressure caused by ristricting the flow can be caused by the FREEZING/build up of ICE.
