Apex Bars on RX-1

Would like to change out to '06 Apex bars on the RX-1..anyone try this..do they just wire in series like the old ones and can you get the handwarmers to work properly?

Did it. i have them on my 05 warrior. Wired them just like the stock bars where wired, and they work as good or better. i did put a plastic washer between the hook and the bar, but not sure it is nessisary. Maxdlx

What is different between the bars?

the new bars have the hooks already on them, and they have way better grips, not the hard on the hand old style grips. The new bars are about 2 inches shorter so you need a 2.5 inch riser to make up the difference. i have one for sale for 20 bucks shipped. I have a 4.25 on mine, and am going to go 6 inch with nothing need as far as cables and such. Maxdlx

Will the 07 Apex styel handlebars fit a 03 RX-1? If so what modifications if any need to be made? Riser, wiring, cable extensions and etc...?
