apex chaincase cover

need help is there any tricks to getting the chaincase cover off i have all the bolts out but cant seem to get the cover off

Search for this it has been covered in several threads.

Double check that you have everything removed. Bolts (don't forget the small bolt or bolts depending on what year you have in the center), caliper, rotor, parking brake, disconnect the reverse fork linkage. and remove the collar with the set screw. If you are positive you have everything removed give it a GENTLE tap with a rubber mallet.

Do you have the collier off the top shaft, there's two of them one has a set screw.
