Not sure if I have these shims and spacers in the proper order. Specifically the shim that goes between the locking collar and the cover. I changed the track out in the summer and I seem to be having some leakage on the chaincase cover. Almost seems like it is leaking out from where the jackshaft comes out of the chaincase cover.

Here are some pics.

the collar with the set screw goes on first and seals the chaincase. your pictures show a smaller coller on first, and that is where it is leaking.

X2! The dark line you see in the silver collar is where that lip seal is supposed to run.

These are your three options. All of which require you to take apart the chaincase again.

just reverse the first and second collers and re-assemble. everything else appears correct, just install key in rotor and circlip.

Any idea where that other collar is supposed to go?

Not sure which one you mean. The narrower collar or spacer is correct on the outside of the disc brake. You just need to switch with the locking collar and wider spacer as mentioned above.

Thanks guys. I got it back together.

I had been looking at the service manual and already had the pic that yox185 posted. It doesn't show a spacer on the outside of the locking collar. It shows a spacer on the inside. The one labeled new.
