Leaking at the coolant inlet into the valve cover. I put a new o-ring in it, buttoned it up, took off down the road and now it's leaking even worse. I know where it's leaking, I know why it's leaking, I don't know what the trick is to keep it sealed - Blue RTV? Double o-rings? Appreciate any help - Thanks!

did you lube them up so they went in smoth, easy to deform them otherwise, been there done that.

Hmmm...No, I didn't use lube on them, but the other set I have from my Attak has a white sealant applied to the o-ring/around the tube. Makes the o-ring look more squared, and this was how it came from the factory - I thought I was being handed the wrong part at the counter.

OK so THAT was a tricky one. Turns out the hose had a tiny crack in it so coolant would drip/spray and pool in the valve cover until it would run over and burn off. Wouldn't show-up at idle.

Wow. Good find.
Was it the hose the went to the fitting in the head or a hose from above coming from the coolant tank?

Hose from the T-stat housing, to the Tee, had a very tiny split in it.
