I was just wondering how everyone is setting up their front shocks on the Apex GT besides shimming them? I went to a 7.5in shaper and playing with the clickers. I don't have a problem with darting and the handling is great just looking for a little more bite before changing the skis. Thanks For any help given.

:rocks:

More bite? Tighten up the ski springs. Pull limiter strap up one hole.

On My Gt I had too much bite and it darted really bad. I did the opposite. Seems decent now.

1- Tighten up the shock springs about 2 turns
2- Set compression adjustment 2 or 3 clicks harder.
3- Set transfer one or two increments towards min.Stock is in the center.
4-Make sure your rear spring sag is no more than 45mm.
5- Don't set your electric shock too soft. After much experimenting in Canada this weekend I found the sled handles much better with the electric shock set two or three bars above the middle setting. For drag racing it holeshots better with the shock on the min setting.
Some guys also pull up the limiter strap one more hole. I didn't do that because I like full suspension travel. Also make your shims aren't too thick,it will push when they get too thick. I found 1/4 inch to be good.

Hi guys. I did tighten down the strap and notice a big difference, but like fourload had mentioned I don't have the transfer I once had and was planning on playing with that. Thank for the tips.
