No need for M-10 !!!! I weigh 215 lbs, new to the Attak, leftover 06. Ran it last year stock first ride U.P. , no bumps, etc. rode o.k. . Second ride had the Big Boy (Fat Boy) spring installed. Went riding U.P. lots of snow, ended up pounding through 2 foot moguls after riding all day. I almost pulled a Superman over the handlebars !!!!! Back end bounced 1 foot or more off the ground. Pogo-sticking down the trail. I was so pissed that I wanted to sell the sled when I got back. I did a search on here and talked to a few folks that put the Big Boy spring on and basically if you didn't revalve the shock to offset the heavy duty spring it would pogo stick you over the handle bars. I sent my shock off for a revalve and went to Canada for a trip out of Wawa. Put about 1000 miles on in a week. Mainly good groomed trails, a few bumps along the way. Not sure it was fixed. On the way home , we stopped off at Bergland, MI to ride with a friend. We hit some nice whoops and big bumps/chop. The Fat Boy Attak rode like a Cadillac !!!! I could not believe it. It sucked up the whoops no problem and rode very plush. I will add that I have Fox Air Shox on the front end but as long as the front end is not totally mush it will not matter when the rear end is concerned. Like others said instead of buying the M-10 or other offerings, try a revalve first and see what happens. Be honest on how you ride, weight, etc. and you'll be good to go.

I have had a few m-10's and have not had much luck with the durability of them. They are a great suspension when all is well and they a tuned to your riding style. The shocks seems to have problems no matter what brand you have on them. I love my attak with the mono. It has its moments where the M-10 would be a little better, but not worth the money or durabuility issues. Stick it out with the mono, maybe talk to WORKS INC about a shock upgrade for the GT. Have had a lot of problems with the Ohlins on the GT's Thats what I would do.
