Seems like when I am cruising in the trees, or when I get into the boost and let off it won't idle unless you give it gas to clean it up. Have a blow off valve back by the turbo . Anybody else having bogging issues.

Can you move the BOV up near the intercooler?
See if you can adjust the Co on your instrument.........that takes care of the stock efi below a certain rpm. Only your dealer will likely have the instructions to adjust.

I have the same problem, But my ecu wasone of the first ones and needed to be remaped. Just got mine back from prince george yamaha so we will see. Mine only did it above 8000 ft.

Yup, my Boondocker does that too. Still trying to get it resolved.

We have adjusted the CO to -5 all ready. Do you think having the BOV closer to the intercooler would make that much difference. I think that the map on the MCX side of things is just to rich. I heard that some of the kits came out with the wrong mapping....Is there a way of finding out if I got the rich map or lean map........ How low can you go on the CO settings. I heard -6

I have run at -10 and still had a little stumble off idle to below engagement but works great from engagement on up.I am set at -5 now for best results.
PG Yamaha has set me up as western usa dealer in 2004 and I have the software to do update programing to the current kits.
I also have MC Kits in stock.

Whats the latest on this?
I actually added more fuel in the idle range and it helped mine.
But then again, I have the Boon so might not help you guys.

Mine was real rich on my o2 sensor in my shop, it was so rich i could not hold it between 2500 & 300. So I leaned it down to -8 and it worked good at sea level. Up in elevation it ran like before i adjusted it. So i will be taking mine down even more.

Mountain, Do you have the 260 kit from mcxpress? I heard to take it to -35 for over 8000' Mine is in shop to adjust mc mapping instead of yamaha mapping on low end.

I think the MCX mapping only comes into play under boost. During non boost the stock mapping controls fuel, at least that is the way I understood it. My son has a stocker and it runs awesome so perhaps lowering the compression is what had an effect. I am at -5 and ride 6-8,000' I also ride at 2-3000 when we get snow. Runs a lot better at -5 than it did at the stock setting. I should probably try a little leaner when I have time as I have already melted off the exhaust cap twice, I was thinking it was lean but am starting to wonder if the extra heat is coming from being rich. The sled runs great wide open, it's just that low/mid range that seems like it could be better, IMO
