Any know what it's supposed to be exactly? I have 2 apexs. One stock, one s/c. The s/c I bought used and has I think bender rails on it. They are slightly thicker. I was trying to figure out why my axle nut doesn't go on as far as the stocker, which rail thickness will affect. I had bought a pair of steel rail supports for the stocker because one had broke. It came with an aluminum bar to replace the 2 smaller inner bogies. Why you would want to do that, I'm not sure. I didn't. Anyways, the bar measures 8.650" and fits snug at front of the rails, and midway. But at axle, it's Sloppy(s/c and stocker) . So I added up everything.
Washer .085
Adjuster .635
Spacer .973
Wheel .472
Middle spacer 4.380
Wheel .472
Spacer .973
Adjuster .635
Washer .085

That's 8.710"
.060 difference. Are both sleds wrong, or are they design with taper towards the rear? That seems odd to me. So I was just going to turn some new middle spacers .060 shorter than stock, unless something else is wrong?

Anyone have the length of the long spacer in the middle with just 3 wheels? I installed 4th wheel kits on both and got measurements for cutting the stock spacer down from a link off here somewhere. Thinking it's wrong. Never measured it 1st. Would like to know. Thx

Link I used

The 28 and 108 aren't the equivalent of 4.379 and. 972. So adding 12mm to which one is correct? That's why I ask someone how long there's was. I ended up turning off another . 060 off the 4.379. I don't think his measurements are right, or that middle spacer is long from yamaha. Until I can find an original one to measure myself. As of now, I have a 4.319 in both, and the rails are perfectly parallel.

The lengths I have shown are from the original long spacer. I cut it up with a copper pipe cutter so no material is missing.
Adding my numbers will give you the original length that I started with.
146mm = 5.748"

Now you have me thinking about my rails and how parallel they are.:confused:
