apex midrange drone

Anyone know how to get rid of the midrange drone...any help would be great. Thanks, James

I was going to say"just ride it faster",but that would be cruel.
It's just the nature of the beast.I've gotten used to it.

I've just got a new Apex and have also noticed the loud exhaust resonance drone between about 4500-6000 RPM. Very annoying and a helmet doesn't seem to help. Surprised Yamaha hasn't fixed this.

Get a trail jamz system. I tried mine out on my sled the other day and it was awsome... Love it and didn't notice the drone.. (but I didn't really notice it before...)

Never ride in that rpm range so I never hear it.
