Apex Mnt Skis on 03 RX1 Mnt

I just switched my 03 RX1 Mountain over to a set of Apex Mountain skis and they really help to keep the skis up on top of the snow. The problem that I have is they are way harder to steer on tight bush trails. These skis have a deep primary keel that leave a large groove in the hard pack. Has anyone tried a set of easy steer style runners?

mine came with them,used them once up the mountain.Fine in the snow,but the trail up was brutal,they dart very badly.

i have the dual carbides. make sure the limit strap is tighter on the rear suspension and compress the front springs a little.

I also run dual carbides but I shimed the ski and it got rid of the darting. But I agree heavy steering when going slow in trees.
