Apex motor fit in an RX1 ?

I need a motor for my '04 RX1. Spun crank bearing in original motor, mechanic says find another motor. I was just wondering if I found an Apex motor short block, would my RX1 carb rack and stator bolt onto it ? Are the motor mounts the same ? I was thinking it might be easier to find a used Apex motor than an RX1 motor, since they made them for more model years. Any Ideas ?

To answer your question yes an apex motor will fit right in. The heads are different. You will spend more time and money trying to make am apex motor work. I have (1) rx motor in stock. Send me a pm if interested. I also do service work and could install.
