Why would you add that much weight to the front of a Viper? Turbo gets you much more power. Not trying to start a spat just wondering why you would want to?
Last I read the Apex motor weighs 8 pounds more then the 3 hole. So after you factor in the turbo components what would the difference be? Myself I would be more worried about the restrictive 180 degree bend in the exhaust.

That's simply because they're not geared for it, stock gearing on any all the vipers at best is good for 105 mph, some can squeak out a bit more with overdriving the stock clutches, or machine the clutches for more, or spend $150 and get 2 new gears and a chain, mine with a simple gear change went from 109 mph all out with stock gearing to 116 mph and not shifted out yet, also remember the apex speedo is not right, my old mans apex only ran 104 mph in stock form, that's true speed, not what the speedometer said.
Apex speedo from 11 up is very close to true speed. My 11 reads 110 on the GPS and 112 on the speedo. 10 back where out by about 14 mph.

Well I'm not looking to build a trail sled it's gonna be a lake racer custom header turbo and intercooler standalone ect that's why I was interested to see if anyone has done one.
I'd use a Apex XTX.
Sasquatch these guys are pushing 140 mph in 660' on snow.

Well I am working on a 350 hp project with the 3 holer. If he is building a racer the tank & seat go out the window and a straight header out the back is well within reason only problem is it puts the turbo between your legs!!! at least you will be toasty.

So its not about speed then its about quickness in which case weight matters. Otherwise a little weight does little to the top end.
