All I can say is "Welcome to the world of SNOWMOBILES!"
This is an expensive sport when you try to keep up with the new released sleds each year, that is why they make aftermarket products. If money is a problem the cheapest way to better your sled is to modify it. Putting a longer track on won't do a thing to your waranty and will cost about $3,000.00 less. Snowmobiles depreciate so fast. You can extend your track to a 162" for about $800.00 to $900.00. thats alot cheaper than selling your sled for $5,000.00 then buying a new one for $8,000.00 or $9,000.00. I have never owned a sled that did not get modified!
Just a thought. If you can afford a new Apex Mt you should not question if you will be happy with it, the Apex will eat up your buddies sled!

Thanks Guys for all the reply! Was riding this weekend with two Summit 800 151" and one Summit 1000 162" and I was no contest with my Warrior. But it's ok I was expecting that and it was a lot of fun to ride in powder with guys helping out unstucking my sled. Actually there were impressed how I did with my 136"... The guy riding the Summit 1000 is buying a Apex Mtn next year and will put a turbo and told me to go with the Apex Mtn. Hmmm! tough choice the Attack or the Apex Mtn ????
