Now on an 06 apexgt.......Will the rear heat exchanger get hit by the studs on my track......I have 1.25inch lugs...and I think 1.325 inch studs.....144 of them to be exact....Thanks for helping me out!!

That picture is from an Apex GT. It goes right in front of the snow flap. If your studs hit it there, you got bigger problems bud!

Rear Heat Exchangers on Apex....

I have my 06 Apex GT studded with 144 studs.....will the studs mess with the rear heat exchanger...and if so....how can I correct this matter....by the way my track height is 1.25 inches...and my stud height is 1.325 inches....and with gear on I weigh about 170LBS!! Do you think I can get away with a rear heat exchanger??? Thank for the help!!

Whats the part # for this - great idea - cooler is better, period - when my light comes on - i keep riden but try to find some snow to spray up on the front exchanger.

what is the part number ? Is it the same for an attak? IT looks to me like the exhchanger installed on an ATTak would need guards. I know on my warrior I had to put guards on the rear exchanger because sveral people had studs make contact with the rear exchanger

I was at dealer today ordered exchanger for GT was told uses the same one as could be uses on RX-1. Attak uses same one as Rage or 05 Warrior not sure of part number

"Snowraider", If your light comes on drive into some fluffy snow(if availible),or stop as soon as you can.I believe it says this in your manual

Would one of you guys please give me a part number...fir the rear heat exchanger....for my apex gt..My yamaha dealer has no clue...what a joke!!

I would check your antifreeze mixture and add some water wetter. I added some water wetter to my viper and I have never seen the temp light yet.

Put some miles on the sleds first. Just looks like one more potential problem to me. If you're riding on bare roads there won't be any snow hitting that cooler either.

overheating

My GT did the same thing yesterday, hard packed snow and warm weather
Is this a stock yamaha part Think snow
